Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Printster should be usable by everyone who needs something printed, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. This statement explains what we aim for, where we know we fall short, and how to get help.

Our target

We aim for the website and ordering app to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This standard is also referenced by the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

How we build for accessibility

  • We structure pages with real headings, landmarks and lists so they can be navigated with a screen reader.
  • We build menus, accordions and forms to be operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • We give informative images a text alternative and hide purely decorative ones from assistive technology.
  • We design layouts to adapt to small screens and to enlarged text.
  • We show prices, delivery dates and order status as text, never only as a colour or an icon.
  • The ordering app is available in English and nine Indian languages: Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi.

We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance. This statement will be updated when we do.

Known limitations

  • File previews: the page previews of your uploaded documents are images. A screen reader cannot read the text inside them. The page count, paper size and price are always given as text next to the preview.
  • Third-party screens: the payment page is provided by our payment gateway, and parcel tracking may open a courier's website. We do not control how accessible those screens are.
  • PDFs and older content: some older guides and blog posts may not have full text alternatives yet. We fix these as we find them.

Need help or an alternative?

If any part of Printster is hard to use, we will help you place your order another way. For example, you can send your files by email and our team will set up the order with you.

Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 2 working days.

Reporting an accessibility problem

We treat accessibility barriers as bugs. When you report one, we log it, prioritise it according to how badly it blocks ordering, and let you know when it is fixed. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can use our grievance redressal process.
