User Generated Content Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

This policy covers anything you give us or post on Printster: the files you upload for printing, product reviews and ratings, photos, feedback and messages. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Files you upload for printing

  • You keep ownership. Uploading a file does not transfer any rights in it to us.
  • Limited permission to print. You give Tech Udyam Solutions Private Limited a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process (for example, count pages, create previews and convert formats), print, bind and deliver your file, only in order to fulfil your order and provide support for it.
  • Confidential. We never publish, sell or share your files, except with the staff and print partners who need them to produce your order. See our Privacy Policy for how long files are kept.
  • Your responsibility. You confirm that you own the content or have permission to print it, and that printing it does not break any law or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy.

2. What we will not print

We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund you under our Cancellation & Refund Policy, if the content:

  • Is a certificate, mark sheet, identity document, currency, stamp paper, ticket or other document issued by a government authority or institution, or appears designed to be passed off as one
  • Infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark, for example unlicensed copies of published books or branded material
  • Is obscene, sexually explicit, involves minors in any sexual context, or promotes violence, terrorism, hatred or discrimination
  • Is defamatory, harassing, or discloses someone else’s personal information without consent
  • Is otherwise unlawful under Indian law

3. Reviews, ratings and photos

We welcome honest reviews, whether positive or negative. When you post a review, rating or photo:

  • It must be about your own genuine experience of a product or order you actually received.
  • You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and adapt it (for example, shorten it or translate it) on Printster and in our marketing, with your first name or display name. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
  • Do not include personal information such as phone numbers, addresses or order numbers, and do not include photos of other people without their consent.
  • Where we offer a reward for writing a review, it is given for writing the review, whatever its rating. We never reward only positive reviews.

4. How we moderate

We follow the Bureau of Indian Standards’ standard for online consumer reviews (IS 19000:2022). We do not remove or hide a review because it is negative. We may reject or remove a review that:

  • Is not about the product or service, or is spam or advertising
  • Contains abusive, obscene, hateful or defamatory language, or personal information
  • Appears to be fake, paid-for without disclosure, or written by someone with a conflict of interest

When we reject a review, we will tell the reviewer why if they ask.

5. Reporting content and takedown requests

If you believe content on Printster infringes your rights or is unlawful, email info@printster.in with the subject line “Content takedown request” and include:

  • A link to or description of the content
  • Why you believe it infringes your rights or is unlawful, with evidence of your ownership for copyright or trademark claims
  • Your name and contact details, and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate

We act on valid notices as required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and you may escalate through our grievance redressal process.

6. Feedback and ideas

If you send us suggestions or ideas for improving Printster, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
